HISTOPATHOLOGY AND MOLECULAR DIAGNOSTICS IN LIFE SCIENCE RESEARCH

We cooperate with scientific and research institutions and government administration in monitoring and diagnosing the health of free-ranging and wild animals.

Laboratory studies conducted are concerned with assessing the health of populations and their welfare, disease epidemiology, and diagnosing the causes of declines, including poisoning and poisoning of animals.

Histopathology and molecular diagnostics in life science research:

  • Histopathological diagnosis of free-living mammals and fish

  • Histomorphometric analyses of gastrointestinal, reproductive, immune system functions of wild animals

  • Toxicopathological diagnostics of animals (diagnosis of poisoning and intoxication)

  • Biochemical and hematological diagnostics of wild animals

  • Microbiological and parasitological diagnostics of wild animals

  • Establishment of individual molecular diagnostic panels for infectious diseases

  • Genotyping, SNPs and functional genomics (transcriptomics) of wild animals
